Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join Westwood Hospitality. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. Duties:

- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing dishes according to menu specifications - Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and proper use of equipment - Collaborate with management to create new menu items and specials - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency - Manage kitchen operations during peak hours, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service - Oversee portion control and minimize waste - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting - Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavors, and presentation - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Proficient in supervising kitchen staff and delegating tasks effectively - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks - Excellent communication skills If you are passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences, we would love to hear from you.
