Team Support is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for our client in Woking. You'll assist the Site Manager in managing Waste Collections, ensuring Health & Safety compliance, excellent customer service, and employee engagement. Shift work required between 06:00 and 17:00. Responsibilities: Support Site Manager in coordinating site resources for increased productivity and service quality. Ensure service delivery meets KPIs and drive cost control and productivity improvements. Manage Health & Safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture. Manage service completion within SLA, ensure compliance, and handle service failures. Conduct gate and crew checks, toolbox talks, and accident investigations. People Management: Set clear objectives, regularly monitor staff performance, and take corrective action when necessary. Lead and motivate staff through positive engagement and open communication. Undertake people management responsibilities including PDRs, performance conversations, and handling disciplinary matters and grievances. Conduct inductions for new employees and agency workers. Proactively manage annual leave and forecast resourcing requirements. Requirements: Local geographical knowledge. Good transport/logistics knowledge. Experience in operational line management. Experience in managing a labour-intensive, multi-shift environment. Full clean driving license with HGV Class 2 or willingness to train. Willingness to travel between sites. Willingness to complete ongoing career development including but not restricted to First Aid at Work, Manual Handling, Fire Marshal, Topset Accident Investigation. Flexible working hours to ensure Supervisory cover for start and end of shift. Additional training provided, including First Aid, Manual Handling, and Fire Marshal.
