Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in Spanish to a range of primary or secondary school students
  • Create engaging and interactive teaching materials to enhance students' learning experience
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Monitor and manage student behavior in the classroom
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop curriculum and programs
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents/guardians about students' progress
  • Stay updated with current educational trends and teaching methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Spanish
  • Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in teaching Spanish
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language, including grammar, vocabulary, and culture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
