Senior DevOps Engineer

Portsmouth / Hybrid (on site 1-2 days per fortnight)

Contract until end of March 2025

£700 p/d Umbrella

About Us

Our client is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to enhance our CI/CD processes and support our AI/ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, training, and release processes.
  • Foster a DevOps culture that emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Enhance the developer experience by leveraging Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Ensure secure software delivery by adhering to the Secure Software Delivery Lifecycle (SSDLC).

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in DevOps practices, particularly with CI/CD.
  • 5+ years' experience.
  • Strong background in Software Engineering.
  • Familiarity with secure and air-gapped environments is a plus.
  • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda).
  • Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD management.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
