We are now looking for a motivated and committed Technical Presales Specialist for our Hub Europe Pre-Sales Team at Hitachi Energy. In this role, you will identify and capture new market opportunities in the segment of distribution automation, in collaboration with local sales units. If you possess an understanding of Protection & Control applications within the Electric Distribution utilities and basic understanding of Ethernet communication and Cyber Security principle within the industry, we definitely want to hear from you
Location for this position is flexible. Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales team in their sales effort.
Possess some capability for the installation component of product/service solutions and develop prototypes to demonstrate the feasibility of product solutions.
Prepare to travel 20 to 40 days per year within Hub Europe area for customer visit and demo. Virtual and face to face.
Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent would be an advantage.
You have B2B pre-sales or Technical Project experience within Distribution Utilities and perhaps some experience with customer activities.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English, any other language is an advantage.
