Sales Director, Retail Planning

About the Role DP World CNS have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join us. This role is critical which will contribute to the sales department's efforts in identifying and capturing new sales opportunities, significantly contributing to CNS's revenue growth and market expansion, particularly in Europe. This role impacts the entire sales process, from prospecting to the successful integration of new clients, and enhancing customer experience through strategic sales initiatives.
NOTE: this is a hybrid opportunity, with 30/50% of your time spent travelling to customer sites.
How you will contribute
Sales Pipeline Development : Develop and manage a dynamic sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
Client Engagement : Actively engage with potential clients to understand their needs and promote CNS solutions effectively.
Sales Strategy Collaboration : Work alongside the existing sales team to develop and implement innovative sales strategies.
CRM Management : Utilise the CRM system to ensure all sales activities and client interactions are accurately recorded and managed.
Revenue Growth: Drive customer acquisition and increase product revenue through focused sales efforts.
Lead Management: Efficiently generate, manage, and convert incoming leads,
Market Expansion : Focus on extending CNS's market presence in UK and Europe with products like CDMS and BEEMS.
What you will bring
Qualifications
Educated to a high standard, with 3 good ‘A’ levels. Degree level or equivalent preferable.
Experience in the shipping/logistics/transport/Freight Forwarding industry is advantageous.
Knowledge of the UK customs environment is a plus.
Experience
Proven sales track record and strategic sales planning experience.
Strong track record in sales pipeline development and client engagement.
Commercial relationship and stakeholder management experience.
Skills
Numerate with strong communication.
Presentation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in CRM management advantageous.
