Applicants must be completing a placement as part of a degree course at a UK University, either through Year in Industry/Industrial Placement or Gap Year.
Medical Affairs colleagues convey the science behind company products to the healthcare community and work closely with various cross-functional teams within the company. The Rare Endocrine/Rare Cardiology Medical Affairs Team consists of doctors, pharmacists, and colleagues with life sciences backgrounds, who work collaboratively to deliver on projects and provide medical and scientific expertise.
As part of a vibrant medical affairs team, you can look forward to developing numerous skills, including:
Organisational and project management skills through working on various projects
Developing initiative to manage your own projects
Assist the Medical team with key projects and deliverables aligned with the medical strategy.
Develop in-depth scientific knowledge of Pfizer medicines.
Contribute to Digital Workstreams.
Help organise departmental volunteer days.
There may be opportunities to work with people from other departments, collaborating on various projects.
Student studying for a Degree and taking Industrial Placement as part of degree course or taking gap year
On target for a Degree Classification in a Medical, Pharmacy or Science degree
Strong Maths and English skills
Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas
Expertise with software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
