Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Limited are a major contractor for the construction of building and civil engineering projects within Cumbria and beyond.

Our Clients range from small, individual organisations through to large multi-national companies, local authorities and housing associations.

Our building projects include both traditional and modern methods of construction. With Environmental issues becoming a key consideration for many clients, we have experience in delivering projects and schemes that meet the national construction standards.

Due to our ongoing success, we have an opportunity for the following experienced personnel to complement our successful award-winning team:

*QUANTITY SURVEYOR/ SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR to work within our Private Development Company*

To manage allocated Contracts in a quantity surveying capacity, ensuring the Company’s policies and procedures and Business Management System are followed. The Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor will ensure the contract is delivering the optimum value for the Company, and that the Contract’s costs and current value are reported to management accurately and in a timely manner. The QS/SQS will publish relevant documents to Union Square and use 4PS system to process relevant payments.

Normal Working Hours are:

08:00 – 4:30 Monday to Thursday

08:00 – 4:00 Friday

45-minute lunch break each day

26 days annual leave (excluding Statutory Bank Holidays)
