Data Scientist Opportunity
Location: Cardiff, UK (1 day per week in office)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
About the Client: Our esteemed client, a leading innovator in data-driven decision-making, is currently seeking a proficient Data Scientist to contribute to their product strategy through statistical analysis. Role Overview: The Data Scientist role offers a pivotal position within the client's organization, requiring a blend of statistical expertise and business acumen. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping product strategy by conducting insightful analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally to interpret data and inform strategic decision-making processes.
Utilize coding proficiency in R and other analytical software to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent field.
Proficiency in coding, particularly in R, complemented by experience with Python, SAS, SPSS, or similar tools.
Strong grasp of statistical methods and their practical application in data analysis.
Familiarity with credit risk analysis is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to process and analyze large datasets, including data matching and merging.
