Location: Sellafield

Role: Steel Erector

Rates: We pay the NAECI Blue Book rates and where applicable; lodge and radius payment

Standard Rate: £21.27

OT1: £29.78

OT2: £38.29

HB: £2.37

Hours/Shifts : 44 hours a week shift patterns include: Monday to Friday day shift, Monday to Thursday backshift or night shift. Weekend work is available. Shift patterns are subject to change

Work Type : Contract PAYE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Offloading of wagons in a safe manner
  • Fixing and bolting of steel
  • Marking out steel work and drawing of holes
  • Cutting steel where required
  • Adhering to Health and Safety procedures on site
  • Following all instructions from the Management
  • Operate construction equipment and machinery
  • Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
  • Load or unload construction materials
  • Put together and take apart temporary structures
  • Perform site clean-up


Essentials


We need someone with a minimum of CSCS Blue skilled, IPAF and CCNSG.
You need to have worked in either the nuclear, defence or oil & gas industry.
