Senior Frontend Developer (Lead-Level)
Location: London (Hybrid, 4–6 days in office per month)

Type: Full-time | Global Fintech | 80% Hands-On / 20% Technical Leadership

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with proven lead experience to help shape and scale our next-generation fintech platform. You’ll work across a modern JavaScript and TypeScript stack, using React and Tailwind to build high-performing, visually refined interfaces for a global client base.

Frontend Development: Lead the build of complex, data-rich UI components and workflows using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Shape frontend architecture, enforce design system consistency, and ensure maintainable, scalable codebases.
Leadership: Mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and best-practice guidance.
Partner with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, performant user experiences.
Drive frontend performance improvements, focusing on load times, responsiveness, and accessibility.
Innovation: Evaluate and introduce modern frontend tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve developer productivity and platform quality.
UI/UX Influence: Contribute to visual and interaction design decisions, balancing aesthetic excellence with practical implementation.
Delivery: Take ownership of features from concept to release, ensuring quality and reliability in a regulated fintech environment.

6+ years of professional frontend development experience.
~ Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS.
~ Strong UI experience - ability to translate complex workflows and data visualizations into intuitive, elegant, and responsive interfaces.
~ Deep understanding of component-driven design, state management, and performance optimization.
~ Experience integrating RESTful and event-driven APIs and handling real-time data.
~ Skilled in testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) Awareness of cloud deployment practices (AWS, CloudFront, API Gateway) is advantageous.

Prior experience mentoring or leading small frontend teams.
Blend technical depth with creative ownership - influence both the code and the user experience.
Flexible hybrid setup, mostly remote, with 4–6 London office days per month.
