Food Production Supervisor
Late Shift details: working Monday - Friday from 16:00 until 01:00, with an element of flexibility required during peak season
40 Hours per week
If you are as ambitious as we are and you’re looking for an opportunity to progress your career within Food Manufacturing, join us as the Production Supervisor providing leadership support for our Production colleagues based at Fresh Kitchen (Sysco) site in Bicester.
This Production Supervisor role is a hands-on Production Operative role where you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks from an operational and compliance perspective. Sharing knowledge of previous experience of food production to confidently be an example of relevant food safety legislation, HACCP and BRC principles at all times. This position will give you an opportunity to support the leadership team with product trials, organoleptic and microbiological testing and actively involved in the development of new product lines.
The key to success is to be accurate and concise maintaining a solutions driven mindset using product knowledge for ensuring that compliance with the specification is achieved to the necessary specifications against the daily/weekly production plan for customer, legislative & food safety requirements. You'll have excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to IT literacy to provide regular production data and performance reports to assist in business management and product costings.
