Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive NQ-5 Yrs PQE

Job type: Permanent, full-time

We are currently seeking a Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive for our busy Bournemouth office. This role would be a full time position working within the Real Estate Finance team.

Real Estate Finance primarily acts for banks and buildings societies on volume secured lending matters. Your role will require experience of dealing with commercial property transactions and acting for lenders in taking security.

You will:

Manage your own case load and be able to deal with all elements effectively including drafting client documentation and performing title checks for residential and commercial properties on purchase and remortgage matters for clients such as individuals, lenders, developers, landlords, relocation companies, etc. and advise clients both at client meetings and via advice letters and emails.

Respond to enquiries from new clients giving further information about LA services and cross reference to other relevant fee earners.

Research new issues to find appropriate and creative solutions for clients and look to learn and increase legal knowledge and then put this into practise.

Meet your own and team targets. 

Comply with firm-wide, Solicitor Regulation Authority and Quality Conveyancing Scheme procedures, including money laundering, letters of engagement, billing and to undertake and monitor Lexcel compliance as directed by the Firm, Manager and Team Leader. 

Develop and influence evolving aspects of Property law.

Support, promote and build relationships with colleagues.

Keep current with the latest legal knowledge and working practices.

Identify and raise potential issues with Manager and/or Team Leader.

Continually look to improve processes and raise improvements with Manager and/or Team Leader.

Participate in business development and marketing including supporting and assisting Manager and Team Leader with Tenders.

Attend legal and skills training programmes when provided.

You will have excellent attention to detail, research skills, the ability to work under pressure and great communication and organisational skills.
