As a SENDCo, you will play a crucial role in promoting inclusive education and ensuring that students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Oversee the identification, assessment, and provision of support for students with SEND within the school.
Keep abreast of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in SEND education and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Liaise with external agencies, including local authorities and healthcare professionals, to access additional support and services for students with SEND.
Contribute to the development and implementation of whole-school policies and practices to promote inclusion and diversity.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant SEND qualifications or experience.
