As Lead Engineer and first technical hire, you'll be instrumental in shaping both the technology and the team. Working closely with the CPTO, you’ll use your full-stack JavaScript expertise and blockchain knowledge to build a secure, scalable platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow into the CTO position as their company expands. Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership : Architect and implement our core platform using the latest blockchain technologies.
  • Team Management : Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Code Quality : Ensure high standards through rigorous code reviews and best practices.
  • Decision Making : Lead technical discussions and make crucial decisions shaping our products’ direction.
  • Full-Stack Development : Develop and maintain front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js / Solidity) components.
  • Smart Contract Development : Design, develop, and deploy secure, audited smart contracts.
  • Blockchain Integration : Integrate various blockchain protocols and technologies into our platform.
  • Testing & Deployment : Thoroughly test and deploy new features and updates.
  • Security : Prioritize security throughout development to protect user funds and data.
Qualifications:
  • Experience : 5+ years as a full-stack JavaScript developer with a strong focus on React.
  • Blockchain Expertise : 2+ years developing dApps and smart contracts using Solidity.
  • Leadership : Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, Solidity, Web3.js
  • Strong understanding of blockchain concepts and protocols (e.g., Ethereum, DeFi)
  • Experience with smart contract development and deployment
  • Familiarity with blockchain security best practices
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Soft Skills : Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
