Reports to: Regional EHS Manager

Location: Sheffield Area

Role Overview:
This position is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards within the organization, maintaining high work quality while meeting established deadlines and targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support management in driving improvements in Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

* Manage accident and incident investigations to completion, ensuring outcomes are communicated effectively.

* Play an active role in internal audits, focusing on ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance.

* Coordinate with senior managers, employees, contractors, and external agencies to uphold safety standards.

* Oversee the risk assessment and safety inspection programs, engaging relevant team members.

* Provide and coordinate HSE-related training programs.

* Generate monthly reports on critical health and safety metrics.

* Focus on proactive safety measures, including equipment maintenance and employee training.

* Compile waste management reports and conduct monitoring activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Practical understanding of workplace operations.

* Strong leadership and coordination abilities.

* Proficient in computer applications and internal software.

* Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

* Problem-solving skills using creativity and analysis.

* Valid driver’s license for site travel.

Desirable Qualifications:

* NEBOSH General Certificate.

* Environmental qualification.

* ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 auditing experience.

* Background in Engineering, FMCG, or Manufacturing is beneficial.

Working Hours:

* Monday - Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

* Friday: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm
