My client is looking for a Grinder on a contract basis for their aerospace workshop.
The role will involve Grinding of Aerospace equipment, in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements, to meet delivery requirements.

Role: Grinder (Contract role)
34 per hour (Skilled Worker) or £18.88 per hour PAYE (Indentured Skilled Worker).
Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday
Security Clearance: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. Internal/External grinding using MDI (Manual Data Input) CNC machinery, surface
OCQ - Operator Control of Quality (i.e. Stamping to confirm quality of assemblies are to
The position requires the applicant to have an understanding of Aerospace practice
Any further training requirements will be provided:- Education & Training

Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential)
Knowledge of grinding tolerances/ finishes to Aerospace Standard i.e. Knowledge of hand measuring equipment such as digital micrometer, comparators, air
