I am looking for a warm, bubbly, reliable individual to support me to live as independently as possible in my fully adapted property that I live in with my mum. I am 25 years old, have Cerebral Palsy and require care on a 2:1 basis. It is really important to me that my support staff have an interest in the activities I enjoy, to be able to fully engage with me.
My support workers will be working as part of a team to help me with personal care and to assist me with my music and hydrotherapy sessions and any other tasks relating to my care.
The work is varied and involves assisting me to access the local community and its amenities, along with accompanying me on outings and holidays. At times, it may be necessary to work additional hours depending on the activities that I have chosen to attend, which could also include an overnight stay.
To join me as a Support Worker you will need to: -

Be able to drive and have use of a car.
Have experience of supporting a person with an acquired brain injury.
Work directly for our client and not an agency (unlike most agency work you will spend quality time with your client which can make a real difference)
