Role Overview:

As a Contract Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge security solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of .NET C# and a passion for delivering high-quality software. While primarily remote, occasional travel to our Cheltenham office will be required for team collaboration and project integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-performance software solutions using .NET C#.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on .NET C#.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with database systems such as SQL Server.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the security industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
