My client is an established and expanding agricultural machinery business, covering much of Scotland they offer a comprehensive range of new and used agricultural equipment. They are experiencing continued success and growth.I have a fantastic opportunity for an Agricultural Service Engineer based at my client's depot near Montrose. As well as working at the workshop you will cover a region that stretches from Dundee to Aberdeen.**Responsibilities:**- Responsible for the servicing, diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of agricultural machinery both new and used. **Qualifications:**- Previously worked as an Agricultural Service Engineer or in a similar role.- Strong understanding of agricultural engineering.- Excellent diagnostic and communication skills.- Modern agricultural dealership experience (Preferred).- Skilled in IT.- Full driving license.**Benefits:**- Competitive Salary- Pension scheme- Service vehicle- Laptop and mobile phoneThe suitable candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in a modern agricultural dealership which would be beneficial. However, full training will be given if required.A thorough understanding of agricultural engineering, having high diagnostic standards and IT skills are prerequisites as are being an effective communicator and a strong team player. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime, which may include evenings and weekends during the busy season. You must also hold a full driving license.If you do not strictly meet the requirements but are an experienced Plant Fitter, HGV Mechanic or car mechanic who wishes to move into the agricultural sector, I would still be interested in hearing from you.
