Job Title - Quality Engineer Location - Warrington
Reporting to - Quality Manager / Operations Director
Torque Consulting is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a global manufacturing company who are who is expanding rapidly. They design develop and manufacture on-site and have a state-of-the-art facility. You will be working with some of the worlds largest engineering companies to complete bespoke projects and design work for clients across the globe.

To use appropriate problem solving techniques to investigate quality and process failures and address root causes.
Contribute to scoping and specifying capex projects.
Perform work and job studies to accurately assess work content.
To coach others to improve their skills, enabling them to use lean tools on a daily basis, and be able to tackle their own improvement projects.
To report weekly on current performance, improvement plans and key actions agreed.
Negotiate and organise necessary down-time / access time / team training time for improvements to take place if required.

Experience of people-controlled assembly or machining operations.
Able to travel between sites.


Engineering background.
Experience of machine shop, fabrication or assembly operations.
Quality / Service improvement experience.
