Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bais) - Clevedon

Our client, a major manufacturer of bearings for the aerospace and automotive industry, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer - with an electrical bias. You will be servicing, fault finding, repairing and improving on a wide range of production equipment - including CNC lathes, mills and grinding machines.

This opportunity is a permanent opportunity with an attractive salary. You will be working on a double day shift rotating, the hours are 05:50-14:00 and 13:50 - 22:00 Monday to Thursday and Fridays 05:50-11:20 and 11:10-16:40 shift premium is offered.

Carry out Preventative Maintenance in accordance with schedules
Carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
Test & inspect electrical installations
Communicate to operators/managers/engineers/contractors
Support supplier and subcontractor development, where applicable
Run your operations according to the Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Policies, and work according to the Quality Management System
Apprentices trained and have a range of industry recognized qualifications such as: City & Guilds, NVQ's , BTEC, HNC, HND etc.
Experience in a CNC manufacturing environment
Understand good maintenance and engineering practices
Excellent Electrical knowledge
Good understanding of Preventative Maintenance principles/methodologies
Be flexible to work overtime and support a small team
