As a Fire Stopper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of commercial and data centre projects by installing and maintaining fire-resistant materials. Job Description: We are seeking experienced fire stoppers to join our team in Sunderland. As a fire stopper, you will be involved in both commercial and data centre projects, focusing on the installation of new fire-resistant materials and carrying out remediation works. Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair fire batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound.
  • Install fire and acoustic barriers.
  • Install fire curtains.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience in fire stopping.
  • NVQ Level 2 in passive fire protection.
  • Valid CSCS card (IPAF preferred).
  • Proficiency in the installation and repair of fire-resistant materials.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
  • Immediate availability for an immediate start.
  • Long-term commitment to the role.
