Engineer, Electrical - Permanent position Location: You must have your own car/ transport as there is no public transport.

The Electrical Engineer supports the UK Electrical Engineering team with specific projects, helping to shape the future of the Royal Enfield product portfolio. A key part of the role is to support the EE components development and testing activities.

Represent the electrical design team and PD departmental meetings
Deliver technical and testing support for electrical components on multiple motorcycle development programmes
Design and implement electrical systems/ components for new and updated motorcycles
Preparation of 2D engineering drawings for electrical components
Understand and preparation of 3D CAD models to derive packaging for electrical components
Follow up and maintain design, operational and quality procedures
Produce supporting documentation and packaging layouts for electrical systems as required. example: Circuit diagrams for service manuals, TDL’s
Liaise with internal departments such as Vehicle development, Testing, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Quality.
Degree -Electrical and Electronics Engg. with 1 year minimum experience in relevant field.
Strong knowledge in fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics
Knowledge in electrical testing - Experience in Electrical components
Experience in Failure simulation and root cause analysis
Experience in electrical test rigs and instrumentation
Two wheeler electrical testing experience-Preferable
