Role: Oracle Database Administrator Salary: £50,000-£60,000
Contract: Full-time, permanent
On-site until probation passed then hybrid

A long-established organisation is looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support and enhance several mission-critical databases. This position offers a high level of independence and the opportunity to work with modern Oracle technologies within a supportive, employee-focused environment.

Oversee the setup & maintenance of Oracle database environments.
Keep a close eye on performance, resolving issues and refining efficiency.
Safeguard data through solid backup, recovery, and security routines.
Make targeted data adjustments when needed.
Extensive practical experience managing Oracle databases in live environments.
Confident working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and migrating systems from traditional servers.
Comfortable using both Linux and Windows for administrative tasks.
Strong grasp of Oracle’s internal workings, recovery tools, and advanced features.
High level of proficiency in SQL/PLSQL, tuning, and problem-solving.
Familiar with core Oracle management tools and modern database architectures.
Well-rounded understanding of database protection, compliance, and secure operations.
