We want to create more than just one of the world’s most impactful tech companies; As a Front-end Engineer on the Inbox team, you will play a crucial role in developing Proton's most vital services, including Mail, Calendar, and Contacts. You are an adept at turning technical complexities into seamless user experiences. Effective teamwork, collaboration with Product, Design, APIs, and your team, and data-driven decision-making are essential aspects of this role.

Developing, deploying and supporting high-quality user experiences within our Product portfolio.
Transforming product specifications into technical requirements and lead your team to their successful implementation.
Enhancing Proton's software development lifecycle, tools, and code structure for an improved developer experience.
Writing clear, concise and testable code to maintain and elevate the quality of our codebase.
Managing the scoping, planning and execution of new features, technical initiatives and greenfield projects (depending on seniority).
While we prefer candidates who cover the entire skillset, don't hesitate to apply if you're not an exact match, as we're willing to help you grow in certain areas.
~6+ years of professional software development using JavaScript ES6+ or TypeScript.
~3+ years of experience with React or 2+ similar frameworks, developing performant and reusable components.
~ Deep understanding of JavaScript methodologies and design patterns.
~ Familiarity with best practices for ensuring code quality, including CI/CD.
~ Experience with writing automated tests for your code.
~ A product mindset with a focus on offering the best user experiences.
~ Able to work from the office (70%)

Bonus points for:
Familiarity with UX, accessibility, internationalization, and localization concerns and solutions.
Experience with Grafana or other monitoring platforms.
Experience with breaking down product requirements into architecture design and implementation.
Proficiency with TypeScript.
Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
