Biddable Analytics Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:
Omnicom Media Group are looking for a Manager to join our central Digital Activation Hub (DAH) team. We are delighted to be building a new DAH team to manage biddable digital activation for several brands within the portfolio of this large automotive client across the EMEA region. The Analytics Manager role requires significant hands-on experience of working with data in agency or in digital media and experience of team management. The ideal candidate will have had hand on experience working in biddable reporting platforms and managing a team of analysts to deliver PPC, Programmatic and Social reporting for the client. The individual will be part of an international team of 50+ people based in London. This role reports to a Performance Director, and is integrated into all aspects of programmatic, search & social marketing for the brand client and its products. The successful candidate will work closely with data operations teams and digital strategists to maximise insight for better planning and optimisation of biddable buys providing a valuable opportunity to see inside marketing campaigns and strategies globally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Management-
• Support the Performance Director in guiding the output of a team of 3-6 onshore /offshore biddable specialists. Take responsibility for your team’s output, acting as escalation point when required.
• Lead goal setting and feedback sessions for your team. Work with junior members of the team to upskill them on biddable reporting platforms and the nuances of digital platforms.
• Set the standard in work quality, communication and timeliness with a distributed workforce of analysts.
• Contribute to PHD company culture, whether it’s writing POVs, participating in charity events, or sharing your latest Excel trick. Campaign Reporting & Advanced Analytics
• Support the campaign operation with the delivery of reoccurring reporting formats that account teams need to deliver to budget holders to demonstrate the performance of ongoing campaigns.
• Work with the data operations and buying teams in understanding irregular or unexpected pacing of campaign budgets for lines that need optimising.
• Work with local teams on the customisation of reporting formats that might be automated into finance booking platforms.
• Work within CRM/ site-side analytics platforms (GA, Adobe) on the understanding of tactics that are delivering client KPIs.
• Create Monthly aggregated reporting of investment, performance and operational metrics that provide an insight into media success, bottlenecks and technology improvements.
• Support the buying team in benchmarking initiatives and new measurement solutions. Confidential - Not for Public Consumption or Distribution
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
• Experience working in Analytics, preferably with experience working in advertising/media.
• Demonstrate passion and knowledge for analytics and data operations.
• Team Management experience and a passion for developing people
• Have a passion for learning new things
• Have strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once
• Ability to manage challenges of various clients and market interests in a culturally sensitive manner
• Have excellent numerical skills and confidence analysing data using Excel
• Be a proactive self-starter
• Have excellent communication and listening skills
• Be responsive to feedback
• Strong spoken & written English. Ability to speak other European languages is desired, but not essential
