D365 BC Functional Consultant - Hybrid / UK – Full time - Salary £60k-£90k

Our client, a leading Microsoft Gold Partner in the UK, is renowned for delivering Microsoft Dynamics solutions across a variety of industries. They are expanding their team and are looking for a skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to support their growing portfolio of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking organization that puts its people first.

The Role

You will work closely with our client’s diverse customer base to deliver high-quality solutions that align with their business needs. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, from scoping and design to implementation and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central and experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to gather and document business requirements, translating them into actionable Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide expert advice on best practices and industry standards in relation to Business Central and related technologies.
  • Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define customizations, integrations, and data migration strategies.
  • Train end-users and provide ongoing support to optimize their use of the Business Central platform.
  • Stay updated on the latest Dynamics 365 Business Central features and developments, recommending upgrades or new functionalities to clients where applicable.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, training materials, and user manuals.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) in a consulting role.
  • Strong understanding of financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable), as well as supply chain, inventory, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with other Microsoft Dynamics systems & with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience leading end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with a Microsoft Gold Partner or in a client-facing consultancy role is highly desirable.
