We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions in a consulting environment. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce platform capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
  • Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
  • Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices, incorporating them into development processes.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, process builders, and validation rules.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Salesforce DX.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Location: Based in the UK, with the ability to work remotely and travel occasionally for client meetings if required.
