Our large global client is seeking an MSSQL Developer to takeresponsibilityfor developing high quality database solutions. Youwill havesubstantial experience in T-SQL, coupled with a robust understanding of database systems.Youwill play a vital role in development and maintenance of applications, automation of business processes and performanceimprovements.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of quality database solutions
  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
  • Review, analyse and interpret ongoing business requirements.
  • Analyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data transformation, cleansing and automation.
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
  • Provide timely management reporting.
  • Working on continuous system and process improvements.
  • Establish best practices and coding standards.
  • Work with cross cultural teams across timezones.
Skill and Experience:
  • Good experience level in MS SQL development.
  • Working knowledge of APIs
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experienced in database designing and data modelling.
  • Proficient in developing complex stored procedures and functions in T-SQL.
  • Proficient in developing dynamic SQL queries.
  • Experience in enforcing best practices in SQL.
  • Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases.
  • Experience with data transformation and cleansing using ETL tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Desirable - Understanding or past experience of SAP ERP will be an added advantage
  • Desirable - C#/.Net experience would be an advantage
  • Desirable - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
