Electrified Powertrain Engineer - Automotive / e-Mobility

ARCA Resourcing is partnered with one of the world’s leading mobility technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry who are looking to recruit an Electrified Powertrain Engineer to join their team.

You will work closely with customers to develop, test and optimise the performance of their Electrified Powertrain for future vehicle programs.

You will be expected to take ownership for planning and executing test work primarily on developmental rigs, providing clear and concise data analysis and reporting/recommendations to customer teams (focused but not limited to EDU, Electric Motor, Power Electronics).

Responsibilities:

• Powertrain development

• Powertrain testing from requirement definition to data analysis and reporting

• Defining the testing requirement with the Subject Matter Expert

• Daily summary updates to project stakeholders

Experience:

  • Background in powertrain development or testing
  • Familiarity with Electric Drive Unit and battery systems
  • Strong analytical abilities
