London, United Kingdom AXA XL Full time

Communications & Engagement Manager - Fusion/Transformation - 18 month FTC
The Communications team plays an integral role in enhancing and reinforcing the AXA and AXA XL brand and reputation - externally through media, partner, and customer engagement, and internally through our people. As a high-performing, results-driven team with robust internal and external networks and relationships, our work has meaningful impact in creating awareness, increasing our profile, and driving the business. Fusion was launched in December 2021 as a transversal programme that aims to continuously improve and future proof AXA XL to meet our growth ambitions and ensure that we evolve into an attractive and inspiring place to work. The programme will support the transformation of AXA XL's systems, tools, and end-to-end processes, reducing complexity, and lowering run-rate operating expense over the next two years.
The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver the internal communications and engagement strategy and plan covering the lifecycle of the Fusion programme, working closely with the Head of Fusion and the Head of Internal Communications.
Working closely with the Change Management Lead, Programme team, and Head of Internal Communications, lead and execute all Fusion communications - internally and externally. Plan, write and manage engaging internal communications and campaigns across a variety of channels and platforms: intranet, email, video, Microsoft Teams, Town Halls, and so on.
• Measure and analyse the effectiveness of the programme communications using metrics and develop insights to support the strategy, planning and delivery of continuous improvement.
You will report to the Head of Internal Communications.
First class communications skills - written, verbal and presenting.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained preferably in communications, media, or languages.
• Extensive experience in a change/transformation communications role.
• Good track record of successfully creating and implementing a project communications plan.
• Highly organised, with expertise in content, audience, channel and measurement management, taxonomy, and processes.
• Adept at stakeholder management within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Competence with business processes, preferably in a financial services or B2B environment.
• Ability to network and form robust relationships with peers and senior leaders, and effectively navigate a large organisation.
• Good project and time management, detail-focused, with keen critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
