About the Role As a protection specialist in a busy mortgage team, you’ll play a vital role in helping clients secure their futures. Working alongside mortgage advisers, you’ll provide tailored protection solutions, explain options with clarity, and ensure families are safeguarded with the right cover. It’s a fast paced, client facing role where your expertise makes a real difference every day. The benefits for a Protection specialist: Basic Salary of £26,000 plus commission. Monthly commission payments with OTE of £38,000. Hybrid or remote working. All leads provided from mortgage advisers. 21 days holiday plus bank holidays. Company pension scheme. Support from a highly knowledge admin team. Easily accessible offices in Southampton. Regular training sessions with ongoing development. Potential to gain further qualifications and for career progression into mortgage advice. Your responsibilities as a Protection specialist will include: Working with mortgage advisers to build trust and grow referrals. Provide tailored advice on protection products. Collaborate with the team to ensure excellent customer service. Carry out continued professional development to ensure you stay up to date on industry regulation and products. What will you need to succeed as a Protection specialist: Minimum 1 years experience providing advice on protection products. A passion for great customer service. Motivated and energetic, to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
