Soil Technician

We are looking for a Soil Technician to join the Frontier Precision Services team, based in the Scottish Borders and covering the Northeast region across to Cumbria, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be carrying out soil sampling and associated in-field services for our farmer clients around the region using an ATV and GPS technology. Often working alone, you will be self-motivated, organised and have previous experience involving customer-facing activities (this is desirable but not essential as all training will be given to ensure we provide a professional and safe service to customers). This is a physically demanding role, and you must be accustomed to working outside throughout the year. The role is homebased, but you would be expected to travel to a Frontier site for occasional meetings, when needed. Precision Services form part of the Sustainable Crop Production group within Frontier Agriculture.
