technical documentation , delivering the full suite of AESP publications for armoured land

vehicles. Together with the Project Manager, and the rest of the technical publications team,

you will use your technical and industry expertise, documentation experience and subject matter

knowledge to ensure successful delivery of tasks aligned to the project and customer

specifications.

You will be located across our client and their customer sites in the West Midlands , working

alongside and interfacing with the customer’s engineering and project teams. You will operate

as a KPOC and SME, liaising with the customer organisation. Primary functions of the role will

be to assist in the scoping and definition of work packages, collate and review source

information, resolve technical queries and facilitate the production team.

In this role you will drive the development of the production team capability and deploy process

and operational change; the result delivering an engaged and high performing team.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the customer and internal technical relationships.
  • Act as the operational and day-to-day technical expert and key point of contact.
  • Scope and define tasks ready for production by the operational teams.
  • Monitor deliverables to ensure quality and project KPIs are successfully met.
  • Review project schedules to support successful and accurate delivery to key milestones.
  • Develop process, training, and production methods, successfully deploying within the organisation to support efficiency gains.
  • Work directly with the PM to create development strategies to ensure continuity of capability within the organisation to support the project and services.
  • Work with and support the wider organisation to understand customer needs and develop solutions for new business opportunities.
  • Review technology and software solutions to support automation and enhance offerings for our customers.
