School HR Assistant required in Hemel Hempstead At Engage Education Services, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff in all roles for over a decade. We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to work full-time at a fantastic school in Hemel Hempstead. Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality office staff to work with these schools. About the role: 8.30am -5pm - Monday - Friday. £14.00 - £17.00 per hour As the HR Assistant you will be working as part of a close-knit team that works hard together to ensure the smooth running of the entire school. The administrator duties can include:

  • Using the school’s internal system to record data
  • To contribute to the smooth running of the HR / Head Master’s Office.
  • Any other tasks as reasonable directed by the Director of Human Resources.
  • You may also be required to undertake such other comparable duties as the Head requires from time to time.Assisting the Office Manager with various administrative tasks
  • Using HR best practices to assist the HR Manager
  • Ensure that information is collected and entered accurately on the SCR
  • Maintain staff records (electronic and hard copy)
  • Communicating effectively with students, staff and parents in a professional and friendly manner
  • Covering reception duties
The ideal applicant will have:
  • Experience of working in a school
  • A real passion for working within an education environment.
  • Experience utilising SIMS (School Information Management System) within an administrative role.
