Our client, a well-respected, Regional Housebuilder, based in the Gloucester area, are seeking a Construction Buyer to join them due to a long-term member of staff retiring shortly. The Construction Buyer will be responsible for procuring a range of materials from groundworks through to finishing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a regional developer with an invaluable reputation, that has been operating for over 30 years and are forecasting circa 300 units next year. Construction Buyer Position Salary & Benefits Salary: £50k - £70k DOE (guide only) Bonus scheme Company Car OR Car Allowance 25 holidays per year which increase by 1 day per year to a maximum of 30 days plus Bank Holidays Pension scheme Life assurance scheme Construction Buyer Position Overview Taking off and scheduling materials from drawings and specifications. Sending supplier tender enquiries and analysing them on receipt. Creating purchase orders using COINS software. Manage and update materials price database. Assisting sites with day-to-day plant and materials requirements. Dealing with site or supplier delivery / invoice queries. Check and authorise supplier invoices.
