Data Migration Engineer – D365 Location – UK Remote Contract – 12 Months The Role: Are you ready to take on the challenge of ensuring seamless data transitions for a global ERP implementation? Morgan Advanced Materials is looking for a Data Migration Specialist to play a pivotal role in our expansive D365 ERP implementation. Join us to leverage your expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM) and Customer Engagement (CE), contributing to a major transformation in our IT infrastructure. What you’ll do:

  • Data Migration: Manage the transition of data from multiple legacy systems to D365, ensuring data integrity and compliance with established cleansing rules.
  • Customisation Troubleshooting: Address and resolve functional issues, ensuring customizations meet project specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Systems Integrator and cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated and implemented.
  • Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on progress and challenges, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan.
  • Proactive Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the migration process, identifying risks and escalating issues as necessary.
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience: Minimum of four years in IT with at least two full lifecycle D365 Process and/or Discrete Manufacturing implementations.
  • Expertise: Strong proficiency in ETL methods and setting up managed instances for D365 F&SCM.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of supply chain modules, including Bill of Materials/Formulas and Routings.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
