As Head of Delivery (SPM Wirral District) , you’ll lead a multi-disciplined team and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of connections projects across the Wirral district.
Analyse business performance to ensure compliance with costs and output deliverables, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Implement robust stakeholder and customer interfaces, ensuring effective communication of short, medium, and long-term plans that affect local communities.
Deliver short-term (6–12 weeks) and medium-term (3–12 months) plans aligned with district objectives, minimising outages and maintaining network security.
Ensure compliance with SPEN processes and procedures in line with regulatory and licence obligations.
Collaborate with other District management teams to achieve wider SPEN Licence objectives.
Drive performance against key targets, including:
Promote exemplary health and safety culture, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of all works.
Manage depot activities and responsibilities to ensure effective local operations.
Deliver outputs, optimising system performance and customer service incentives while meeting financial and regulatory objectives.
Strong commercial awareness and experience managing contracts and SLAs.
Project/programme management experience and a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
Demonstrable experience in managing both minor and major projects
Operational experience on electrical networks up to 33kV (advantageous).
Full UK driving licence.
