This Multi-Strategy Fund, based in the West End of London, are building a Greenfield Discretionary Macro team focused on Crude Oil Markets. They now seek Senior Quant Developers who will work directly with the Portfolio Managers ( role sits on the Desk, not in Technology ) .

Your focus will be on providing tooling for Research and Trading team members with focus on Oil Futures, Energy Stocks, and Oil-related ETFs.

Indicative Compensation (flexible), based on both Technical and Quantitative Skills, coupled with Domain Knowledge (Product and Market Microstructure for Oil Trading)

Salary - £150k-£250k

Bonus - £150k-£200k+

Location - West End, Central London

Relocation provided for EU Citizens

Your role will include –

  • Develop software solutions for quant research and trading communities
  • Design and build Portfolio Performance Attribution, Risk, Pricing and Analytics tools
  • Design and build Backtesting solutions
  • Build Data Pipelines for collection of new alternate datasets
  • Design and Build Market Data APIs
  • Implementation of Fundamental Trading strategies

Technical Skills required –

  • Excellent Python (inc. Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, et al) skills
  • Experience of AWS, (Azure / GCP) beneficial
  • 3+ years experience as a Quantitative Developer working directly with Trading and Research
  • 2+ years experience working for a Crude Oil Trading / Portfolio Management team.
