Senior Backend Engineer (Remote | Python | Django | AWS | £70K) We’re working with a rapidly scaling PropTech leade r transforming property management through real-time, cloud-based technology. Backed by top global investors, they’re building the next generation of tools that help property professionals make faster, smarter decisions. As the team grows, we’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who loves solving complex problems, ships high-quality code, and thrives in a fast-moving scale-up environment. What You’ll Work On Building & optimising APIs, microservices, and data pipelines Writing clean, testable, scalable Python/Django code Designing efficient database structures & complex SQL queries Enhancing system performance across backend services Driving engineering excellence through code reviews Mentoring junior engineers and helping shape team culture What You Bring 5+ years of Backend Engineering experience Strong Python + Django background Experience working with microservices architectures Solid foundations in algorithms, data structures & design patterns Excellent communication skills Strong SQL + relational database optimisation experience If you are interested in this role, please send across your CV to jonah.brookes@oliverbernard.com Senior Backend Engineer (Remote | Python | Django | AWS | £70K)
