This role is pivotal in leading the team and building on its current successes, taking them to the next level. As the Director of Motor Financing, you will… Lead, manage, motivate and mentor your growing team of customer finance advisors, to ensure service delivery exceeds expectations and delivers the right results Manage and nurture lender relationships to ensure the best competitive, and sometimes exclusive, rates for customers – central to the company’s success Develop the current loan proposition to expand the number of dealers the company works with, and maximise opportunities Make sure that all lines of communication are managed efficiently at every stage Work closely with the compliance team and external providers so that full regulatory compliance, particularly FCA, is consistently adhered to Report divisional performance to both the board and external shareholders on a monthly basis Work closely with the CTO to review and develop/replace the current technology in order to maximise productivity Manage the day to day KPIs to optimise the effective running of the department, and develop real-time MI outcomes that will enhance departmental performance As the successful Director of Motor Financing candidate, you… Have a proven track record in finance at a senior leadership level and a detailed understanding of the financing market Are experienced in all things compliance within the finance sector and have the necessary regulatory knowledge required Know what you are doing with data analytics, large data sets and will challenge existing views and opinions if necessary Are an empathetic and inspiring leader who knows how to engage, motivate and retain their people for the long term Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the drive and will to succeed on a consistent basis Are innovative and can identify the right sort of opportunities, taking them to a successful outcome Will ideally hold a relevant business degree Are pragmatic with an energetic, persuasive and engaging personality Are a resourceful solutions provider with an entrepreneurial flair and someone who champions people, company ethos and cultural integrity Will have a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others The opportunity to make your mark on this growing PE-backed business as it evolves and develops over the next few years, is significant.
