Risk Engineer

Salary: Up to £33500 depending on experience, plus car, plus allowances
Location: UK, Kent – Home-Based with travel
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking for a career within Risk Management and wish to join our diverse, passionate, and thought leading ZRS Property Team.
Candidates would ideally have some background in Property Insurance either through working in an Underwriting or Claims operation.
The role is home based and successful candidates would be required to travel to customer sites across their region as part of the role. The role is an essential car user (ECU) position and includes the ECU company car allowance.
This is a fantastically diverse and rewarding role and the successful candidate will be provided with a comprehensive training program as well as ongoing support to ensure they can thrive and support our customers with technical guidance and insight.
You will be provided 3 months training in an academy environment, providing the foundational training.

Undertake desktop and on-site assessments in-line with global guidelines as part of risk management survey programmes.
Produce bespoke risk assessment and risk improvement reports to a professional standard and delivered to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Proactively manage the progress and completion of risk improvement actions as part of any customer account management programmes.
Work collaboratively across Risk Engineering, Claims, Underwriting and the wider business.
Experience in assessing property risks property (such as fire, flood or security) and the adequacy of controls measures from an underwriting or claims perspective.
Awareness of risk management and loss prevention practices for Property and/or Business Interruption risks
Relevant professional qualifications such as Cert/Dip CII, TIFireE, Certification in Risk Management
