Regional Sales Manager - Seafood * Join a fast-growing, industry-leading supplier with strong market reputation and major expansion plans * High-autonomy regional role with huge untapped opportunity across the South of the UK * Drive new business selling high-quality seafood in pallet and container volumes Location: Covers the South of England (candidates considered as far north as Manchester but must be willing to travel) The Company A long-established food supplier with 24 years in the market, specialising in high-quality seafood and supplying customers across the UK, Ireland and Europe. The business is known for its strong product quality, consistent inspections, and a reputation that "opens doors" within the seafood sector. They operate with a strong team ethos - no hierarchy, everyone on the same level, and a culture built on trust, freedom and genuine team spirit. With rapid growth (from £4 million to £20 million turnover and now expanding further), the company is still only "scratching the surface" of the UK opportunity. There are 900-1000 potential customer sites nationwide, yet a large portion of the Southern region remains under-represented and under-developed, offering enormous scope for a strong salesperson to make immediate impact. The Role As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing seafood sales across the South of the UK. This is a 100% commercial field role, focused on selling pallet and container-volume frozen seafood into: Independent fishmongers & fish merchants Seafood distributors Asian wholesalers Regional seafood specialists Foodservice operators & owner-operator fast-food outlets Buyers, procurement managers and buying directors The role is 80% new business and 20% existing, with both company-provided lead lists and your own self-generated opportunities. Volumes can move quickly, with same-day lead times possible. You will manage your own diary, work from home when not visiting customers, and have the freedom to run your territory as your own business. You'll receive strong support from the commercial team, including introductions and UK visits from the Sales Director during onboarding. Key Requirements Minimum 3+ years' experience in seafood sales Experience working for a seafood distributor, seafood manufacturer, or direct industry competitor Excellent industry knowledge Proven ability to sell bulk seafood (pallets/containers) Strong self-starter able to generate new business in an under-developed region Comfortable dealing with buyers, procurement teams, owner-operators and chefs Able to travel regularly across the South of the UK The Package £50,000-£60,000 base salary Hybrid petrol company car Laptop & mobile phone Monthly bonus structure (highly realistic and achievable)20 days holiday + bank holidays Full induction & tailored training plan
