The successful candidate will enjoy the flexibility of working remotely 2-3 days per week, while also having the privilege of collaborating with senior stakeholders and the Group General Counsel. This position is not just a job; it's a chance to lead the Data Privacy Centre of Excellence Legal Team, shaping the future of privacy and data protection compliance frameworks as the Global Privacy Officer.

Responsibilities include providing commercially pragmatic advice on privacy and data protection legal issues, informing senior management of legislative developments, and ensuring risks, particularly in the AI space, are effectively managed.

Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years PQE and must be UK qualified, with a background in a top-tier Privacy Team from an internationally recognised Law Firm. Experience advising Software and IT Developers on GDPR and Privacy law is essential, as is the ability to translate complex legal concepts into developer-friendly language. A history of in-house or secondment roles within a multinational software corporation will be highly regarded.

Beyond legal expertise and stellar academics, this role demands a visionary leader ready to establish and nurture a new Privacy Team. Knowledge of privacy and data protection law in other jurisdictions and proficiency in French and/or German will be beneficial.
