Regulatory Affairs Data Specialist
Remote – UK | Full-Time, Permanent

LANXESS UK is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Data Specialist to drive environmental, health, and safety data management and ensure compliance with global chemical and dangerous goods regulations.

Your Impact

As a Regulatory Affairs Data Specialist, you will be involved with:

  1. Environmental, Health, and Safety Data Management: Manage and update physical-chemical properties, safety information, toxicology, and regulatory data, while monitoring global regulatory sources. Assess the impact of data changes on the LANXESS product portfolio and support the Management of Change process to ensure smooth transitions.
  2. Regulatory Change Requests & Compliance: Process change requests from business units, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with global regulatory requirements. Maintain consistency within the Management of Change process.
  3. Data Quality & Process Improvement: Develop and refine maintenance standards and procedures, review existing environmental, health, and safety data, and drive data quality improvements within LANXESS systems.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Support: Work closely with Global Product Safety and other stakeholders, lead or support data management projects, and represent Global Data Management in cross-departmental initiatives.
Requirements

What You Bring:

  1. Degree in Natural Sciences (Master's/Diploma) OR extensive experience in global chemical regulations
  2. Expert knowledge of Global chemical legislation and regulatory requirements
  3. High level experience with SAP
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to refine and improve regulatory processes
  5. Excellent communication skills in English (bonus if you speak German, French, Portuguese, Chinese, or Spanish)
  6. Project management experience to regulatory initiatives
