Accelerant is building a new platform that will serve as the backbone of how risk is exchanged in the future. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join the SaaS Platform development team. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. Your primary focus will be automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance and a keen eye for identifying and addressing software defects.
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and testing procedures to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Develop and maintain automated test software using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Provide cross functional testing support to multiple engineering teams.
• Proven successes delivering automated testing frameworks that are used by both developers and QA engineers to support high quality product delivery.
• Strong coding ability.
• Minimum of 5 years software test development experience. • Coding experience in JS, Python, TypeScript. Experience with back back-end testing: Experience working with data analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.

This position is open to remote candidates across the U.Most cross-team collaboration happens in the mornings of the Eastern Time Zone, and would require someone who is willing to work in the EST time-zone
