Enterprise Solutions provide the in-house expertise to design, install and commission MEP (mechanical, electrical and public health) specialist systems which includes Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), Security Systems (Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control and Intruder Alarms), Information Communications Technology (ICT), Lighting Control (LCS), Ventilation (ductwork) and Sprinklers.
You will work within the Security team under the guidance of our experienced engineers, alongside site supervisors and managers.
You will also have a professional approach and a keen eye for detail, excellent communication and IT skills are also vital for the role.
Key Deliverables And Accountabilities Of a Security Engineer Apprenticeship
To learn to design, install and commission electronic security systems to protect people and property from risk and danger
Understanding the requirements for the installation of electrical wiring systems
To learn, understand and manage the production of system software
Carry out point to point testing and commissioning
Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety

A Trainee Security Engineer will provide valuable support to our technical function and project delivery teams as we achieve our business priorities and client requirements. Sub-contractor management
Planning and project controls
As a project-led business, the location of our work can vary depending on project needs. This role may require you to be prepared to work away from home at project sites across the UK.
Apprenticeship Level and Standard
Fire emergency and security systems technician (Level 3, 36 months)
4 GCSEs at C/4+, including Maths & English
~ Be flexible as you may be required to work away

Online Assessment You will complete a series of assessments designed to understand how you approach workplace situations, your preferred ways of working, as well as exercises to evaluate your critical thinking and numerical reasoning skills.
Video Interview At this stage, you will be invited to record responses to two questions set by our hiring team. Assessment Centre Our in-person assessment centres, held at a LOR office, provide an opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills through a combination of individual tasks, short interviews, and group activities.
