Investment Banking Associate

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly motivated to work in a dynamic team and to contribute to our Investment Banking business. P Morgan Technology team is composed of a team of professionals with very strong client relationships across a broad range of leading companies in a wide range of Technology verticals, including Software, Internet and Fintech verticals among others. As an Associate within the Investment banking Technology team, you will be a pivotal player in the origination and execution of investment banking mandates across all major product areas. Your responsibilities include participating in the "full cycle" of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations for use in M&A, public or private capital markets transactions and strategic dialogue. You will have plenty of opportunities to work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank and will get exposure to formal training, hands-on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, and numerous development opportunities. You are expected to develop strong functional skills in the major areas of investment banking and become a senior client executive who is capable of generating and executing your own transactions. Perform detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analysis Support daily deal execution and project management of clients Prepare presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, Memorandums, and other presentation materials for use in corporate finance transactions or strategic client dialogue Perform detailed combination, transaction structuring analysis and other financial analysis Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to junior team members Relevant full-time prior experience in investment banking as part of a country or sector coverage team, with a track record of assisting with executing M&A and capital markets transactions Proven financial modelling/valuation skills and experience in working with corporate finance related topics Ability to handle pressure whilst multitasking on numerous projects This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity.
