Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Legal Administrative

Coordinator. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our M&A legal team, helping to manage their

workload and ensuring smooth operations. You will also assist with various administrative tasks, including

tracking data and liaising with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the M&A legal team by managing their administrative workload and providing general
  • administrative support.
  • Prioritize team tasks according to client needs.
  • Keep the team’s internal ticketing system, managed via Trello, up-to-date.
  • Identify and flag issues with workload distribution to senior management.
  • Track certain data and manage deal codes, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up with
  • clients to obtain missing information.
  • Act as a point of contact for colleagues, ensuring effective communication and timely responses.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Organize and maintain documentation and correspondence as necessary, ensuring information is
  • accurately filed and easily accessible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; additional administrative or project management certification is a plus.
  • Proven organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant
  • software.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks
  • and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with
  • diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a legal or private equity environment (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and basic understanding of legal processes (preferred but not
  • required).
  • Experience with online ticketing software - e.g., Jira, Trello (preferred but not required).

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary. Contracted working hours are Monday through Friday

from 9am-6pm. The position may require work outside of regular working hours to accommodate project

deadlines or address urgent matters. This is a full-time remote role with the possibility to work in person

in Manchester, UK or move to a hybrid format in the future. Strong preference will be given to

Manchester-based candidates or candidates willing to relocate.
